Overnight Oats with Chia Seeds

Chia seeds make overnight oats thicker, creamier and more filling. Because chia soaks up liquid, use 3/4 cup milk instead of 1/2 cup, and stir once more after 10 minutes so it doesn't clump.

FAQ

How much chia seed goes in overnight oats?

1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons per 1/2 cup rolled oats, with 3/4 cup milk.

Why are my chia overnight oats clumpy?

Chia clumps when it sits undisturbed in the first few minutes. Stir again after 10 minutes and it will gel evenly.

Are chia seeds and oats good together?

Yes. Chia adds fiber and makes the oats thicker and more filling, and it doesn't change the flavor.
